Skill Level: Beginner

Construction

Beginner friendly hat, knit in the round from the bottom up. There is a decrease section at the upper third of the hat. The hat is finished with a pom pom.

Materials

Madeline Tosh “Tosh DK” 100% Superwash Merino 200yrds. This is a light worsted weight yarn. Gauge is not hugely important.  Just use a similar yarn.


The sample was knit in colorway “Tomato”
Total yardage required: 75grams // 150yrds

 Needles and Notions:

•1 set (4) US size 5 DPNs (or US5 circ with 16" cable in addition to the DPNs)
•Scissors
•Tapestry needle

Gauge

Gauge is not super fussy on this hat. The sample gauge is 20.0 to 22.0 sts = 4 inches

Fit

This hat can be worn uppy or slouchy depending on user preference.
